EFEKTIFITAS MODUL “MY BEAUTIFUL BIRTH PLAN” TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER III MENGHADAPI PERSALINAN

Latar Belakang : Kelahiran bayi merupakan pengalaman hidup yang paling mengesankan, menyenangkan, bahkan merubah hidup seseorang perempuan. Setiap perempuan menginginkan setiap rencana persalinannya sesuai dengan harapan dan keinginannya. “Birthplan” atau rencana kelahiran merupakan pernyataan sederhana, jelas tentang prefensi seorang perempuan dalam menghadapi kelahiran. Kelemahan saat ini provider lebih sering merencanakan kelahiran sesuai dengan keinginannya. Namun kurang dalam mendukung sesuai keinginan setiap ibu. Salah satu alternatif dalam mempersiapkan persalinan adalah dengan memberikan pendidikan kesehatan melalui pemberian modul.
Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh modul “My Beautiful Birth Plan” terhadap pengetahuan, sikap ibu hamil Trimester III menghadapi persalinan.
Metode : Penelitian kuantitatif, jenis quasi eksperiment dengan pre test-post test control group desain. Subyek penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil trimester 3. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode randomized assignment, kelompok perlakuan di Wilayah Puskesmas Kec Pasar Rebo dan kontrol di Puskesmas Kec Ciracas. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Wilcoxon test pada 2 kelompok berpasangan dan independent test pada kelompok tidak berpasangan untuk pengetahuan, sedangkan untuk sikap menggunakan Mann Whitney test
Hasil : ada perbedaan bermakna rerata skor pengetahuan ibu pada pengukuran post test –pretest antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok control (p= 0,0001) . ada perbedaan bermakna rerata skor sikap ibu pada pengukuran post test-pretest antara kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol
Kesimpulan : skor pengetahuan dan sikap ibu yang diberikan pemdidikan kesehatan secara intensif menggunakan modul “my beautiful birthplan”lebih tinggi secara bermakna dibandingkan yang tidak diberikan pendidikan kesehatan secara intensif.
Background: The birth of a baby is the most memorable, enjoyable life experience, even changing the life of a woman. Every woman wants every birth plan according to her hopes and desires. The “birthplan” or birth plan is a simple, clear statement of a woman’s preference for birth. The current weaknesses of providers are more often planning births in accordance with their wishes. But lacking in support according to the wishes of every mother. One alternative in preparing for labor is to provide health education through the provision of modules.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the “My Beautiful Birth Plan” module on the knowledge, attitudes of pregnant women with trimester III facing childbirth.
Methods: Quantitative research, a quasi-experimental type with pre-test post-test control group design. The subjects of this study were third trimester pregnant women. Sampling was carried out using the randomized assignment method in the Pasar Rebo District Health Center and control at the Ciracas District Health Center. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test in 2 groups of pairs and independent test in groups of 2 pairs for knowledge, while for attitudes using the Mann Whitney test
Results: there was a significant difference in the mean score of maternal knowledge in the post-test-interpretation measurements between the treatment group and the control group (p = 0.0001). there were significant differences in mean scores of maternal attitudes on post-test pretest measurements between the treatment and control groups
Conclusion: A score of knowledge and attitude of mothers given intensive health care using the module “My beautiful Birthplan” significantly higher than those that are not given intensive health education.
