ABSTRAK
Rendahnya penerapan inisiasi menyusu dini (IMD) pada ibu post sectio caesarea disebabkan karena adanya beberapa hal
antara lain minimnya informasi dan adanya hambatan yang berhubungan dengan pelayanan di tempat persalinan. Tindakan
operasi sectio caesarea merupakan tindakan yang dapat menyebabkan ketegangan. Ibu yang akan dilakukan tindakan sectio
caesarea umumnya mengalami kecemasan dari tingkat ringan sampai berat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
hubungan kecemasan dengan pelaksanaan inisiasi menyusu dini pada ibu post sectio caesarea di ruang Edelweis RSUD
Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 41
responden. Sedangkan jumlah sampel 37 responden, yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi di RSUD Jombang. Teknik
pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Variabel independen adalah kecemasan dan variabel
dependen adalah pelaksanaan inisiasi menyusu dini. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil uji Mann
Whitney didapatkan nilai ρ= 0,594, dimana ρ > 0,05 sehingga tidak ada hubungan kecemasan dengan pelaksanaan inisiasi
menyusu dini pada ibu post sectio caesarea diruang Edelweis RSUD Jombang. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah saya
lakukan di ruang Edelweis RSUD Jombang, hampir seluruhnya ibu post sectio caesarea mengalami kecemasan ringan dan
hanya 3 orang yang berhasil melakukan inisiasi menyusu dini. Sebagian besar dari responden tidak pernah mendapat
informasi tentang inisiasi Menyusu dini, itu menjadi salah satu faktor penghambat inisiasi menyusu dini. Faktor lain yang
mempengaruhi tercapainya peran ibu adalah petugas kesehatan yang berada dalam kamar operasi. Diperlukan peningkatan
mutu pelayanan kesehatan dalam pelaksanaan inisiasi menyusu dini agar inisiasi menyusu dini post sectio caesarea dapat
meningkat.

THE CORRELATION OF ANXIETY WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EARLY BREAST FEEDING INITIATION FOR WOMEN OF POST SECTIO CAESAREA (SC) IN EDELWEISS ROOM – RSUD JOMBANG
ABSTRACT
The low level of early breastfeeding initiation implementation for women of post sectio Caesarea is caused by several
things, namely , the lack of information and the obstacles that are associated with the area of delivery service. Sectio
Caesarea Surgery is an action that can cause tension. Women who will be taken Sectio Caesarea commonly experiences
anxiety from mild to severe level . This research aimed to understand the correlation of anxiety with the early breast
feeding initiation implementation for women of Post Sectio Caesarea (SC) in Edelweiss Room – RSUD Jombang.
This research used an analytic correlation with cross sectional approach. The total of population was 41 respondents.
Whereas the total of samples was 37 respondents, who fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria at RSUD Jombang.
The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The independent variable was the anxiety and dependent variable was the
implementation of early breast feeding initiation . The technique of data collection used questionnaires. Mann Whitney test
results were obtained that ρ value = 0.594, where ρ> 0.05 so that there wasn’t anxiety the correlation of anxiety with
the implementation of early breast feeding initiation for women of Post Sectio Caesarea (SC) in Edelweiss Room –
RSUD in Jombang. Based on the research which I have done in the ward of Edelweiss – RSUD in Jombang District ,
almost entirely women of Post Sectio Caesarea experienced mild anxiety and only 3 women who were successful to
perform early breastfeeding initiation. The most of respondents never I get information about early breastfeeding
initiation , it became one of early breastfeeding initiation obstacle factors. Another factor that affects the achievement of
the women’s role was health staff who stays in the operation room. It is necessary to improve the quality of health services
in the implementation of early breastfeeding initiation so that initiation of early breastfeeding post sectio caesarea may
increase.
