HUBUNGAN PEKERJAAN DAN PENDIDIKAN IBU DENGAN PEMBERIAN

ASI EKSLUSIF DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS HINAI KIRI

Abstrak

Pencapaian ASI Eksklusif di Indonesia belum mencapai 80%.  Berdasarkan laporan SDKI tahun 2013  pencapaian ASI eksklusif adalah 42%.  Sedangkan, berdasarkan laporan dari Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi tahun 2014, cakupan pemberian ASI 0-6 bulan hanyalah 54,3%.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelatif dengan  menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional untuk mengetahui hubungan pekerjaan dan pendidikan ibu dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif di Puskesmas Hinai Kiri Tahun 2017. Penelitian ini dengan menggunakan data primer dan kuesioner sebagai alat ukurnya.

Hasil penelitian uji univariate, mayoritas responden tidak memberikan ASI Eksklusif sebanyak 31 orang (57,4%). Hasil uji statistik antara pekerjaan ibu dengan pemberian ASI Ekslusif diperoleh P value 0,005 < 0,05 bahwa ada hubungan antara pekerjaan ibu dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Hasil uji statistik antara pendidikan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif diperoleh P value 0,003 < 0,05 bahwa ada hubungan antara pendidikan ibu dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif.

Disarankan kepada ibu yang memiliki bayi dapat menambah pengetahuan dan informasi dari berbagai sumber tentang pentingnya ASI Eksklusif sehingga menumbuhkan motivasi ibu untuk berperilaku baik dalam memberikan ASI Eksklusif kepada bayinya.

Abstract

Achievement of Exclusive breastfeeding  in Indonesia have not reached 80%. 2013 year SDKI reports based on achievement of breastfeeding exclusively was 42%. Whereas, on the basis of a report from the provincial health office the year 2014, the coverage of breast feeding 0-6 the Moon is just 54.3%.

The type of research used are descriptive correlative with the use of cross sectional approach to know the relationship of employment and education of mothers with exclusive breast feeding Clinics Hinai Left the year 2017. This research using primary data and questionnaires.

Univariate test results, the majority of respondents did not provide Exclusive breastfeeding as many as 31 people (57.4%). The results of statistical tests between work with Exclusive breast feeding mother obtained P value  0,005 < 0.05  that there is a relationship between work mother with Exclusive breast feeding. The results of statistical tests between Exclusive breast feeding education obtained P value 0.003  < 0.05 that there is relationship between mother education with Exclusive breast feeding.

 It is suggested to mothers who have babies can increase knowledge and information from various sources about the importance of breastfeeding Exclusively so that fosters the motivation to behave well in the motherhood provide Exclusive breastfeeding to her baby .
